I actually bought that one - Trial by Terror - at a second hand bookshop, and my aunt told me not to read it because it was soul-sucking. She didn't let me return it to the bookshop either because then someone else would get it! Earlier, Mom had told me she didn't like it either.

JK Rowling also writes under the name Robert Galbraith. Completely different from the HP books.
