Noticing Newbies

I don't think anyone has mentioned it, and it isn't open to new participants until like july I think, but if poetry is your thing perhaps
"Promptly Poetry Challenge (2025-2026)" 
is an activity you should keep your eyes on. It isn't a contest it is an activity where you end up writing a poem a week based on given prompts which could be anything from pictures to words to poetic forms. I have participated for several years and while I don't end up writing a gem every week there have been some that I am really proud of.
