Oh, [censored], one of those [censoredⁿ] questions.
Do you mean:
(a) My verbal (left) brain, which is a teenager who usually doesn't talk, much;
(b) my visual (right) brain, whose age is indeterminate and asks questions about the multiverse that won't be answered for a long time, if ever (and may result in mirth if discovered in the future), and would love to replace mundane research with exploration;
(c) my curmudgeonly composite of (a) and (b) (subjective reality), who happens to be the sole interface with the steel sphere (objective reality) deeper in the mind.
Used to have a supervisor (before the smartphone era) who'd send a question via email, then go to lunch. Simple question, resulting in 3-6 answers, giving her the opportunity to determine what she actually meant. She was one of my better supervisors, over the years.
