I don't believe I would. Somewhere in the old noggin' it sets the stage for making my real life look too imperfect. I have problems, but I needn't go around making them look worse by holding them against an unachievable standard of perfect. If I took said perfect day, and had my cat barf on the floor, the dog next door incessantly bark, I broke my favourite mug or stepped on a shell at the beach, it's easy to see how quicky perfect is shattered. I believe in daydreams, don't get me wrong. But I no longer believe in perfectionism (but that is a story for another day). ————————————— |
