Some plastic wrapping can make an infuriating squeaking noise as you try to remove it. Polystyrene packaging does something similar. Both set my teeth on edge. Another thing that irritates me is when I put something down and it rocks back and forth before settling, starting slowly and then speeding up - rock....rock...rock..rock.rock.rockrockrockrock. Another one is where glasses in a cupboard are close enough to come into contact with even the slightest vibration. So you walk across the kitchen accompanied by the sound of clink-a-clink-a-clink - it's like being followed around by a poltergeist with a tambourine. I've found myself going through the cupboard just to separate them by enough to shut them up. PS And I did it again - posted a reply to the latest reply instead of to the main question. |
