The sound of something like a child or pet when neither of those things are in the house. I live in an apartment, and when the heat kicks on, the metal of the baseboard heaters creaks loudly. While not creepy at 3pm, it's definitely creepier at 3am. Having an electronic device like Alexa going off for no obvious reason is a lot creepier at 3am then it is at 3pm.
