Hallo Jaye,
Thank you for stopping by to introduce yourself.
I joined Writing Dot Com four months after I lost my mother. I had written a poem about grieving and wanted to share it with people other than my family. It was then that I discovered this site, and I truly feel I have another family to call my own here now.

The community (WDC, as we call it) has shared in my ups and downs since April 23, 2007 and I feel truly blessed to have found it.

I'm so glad you have found this community. Welcome.
