Today's topic opened a lot of wounds for folks and I am so sorry for that. As someone who also deals with mental illness, I have learned over the years how to hide my true feelings - so much so that people closest to me would be shocked at how I'm really feeling.

But, regarding the Crumbley case, I think those parents were also messed up in their own ways. But when push came to shove, they knew he was up to no good and did nothing substantial to prevent it. Their first mistake was buying him a gun knowing he was unwell.
