Without reservation, I believe that you never saw a gun until you came to the US. I'm a first-generation American and I'm not sure how my dad got hooked on guns and it's too late to ask since he's gone. I do remember my mom wasn't too keen on them, but my dad made her learn to shoot for protection (in case he wasn't home).

I don't have a gun and my husband was never around them. But my three brothers have what I would call an arsenal. *Facepalm*
