Live by the gun die by the gun. In an area of gun culture (hunting or otherwise) this should come as no surprise. What is a shock is that the parents are being held responsible.

That said, the school messed up as well.

BUT, the parents bought the gun and didn't control nor listen to their son. Total failure on their part.

The verdict? I wasn't on the jury, so I can't say.
