October Novel Prep Challenge

Thank you again for the link to the Chapter Outline. I am still trying to learn to use it. By that I mean I am not sure if I am trying to say too much or too little. How do you handle what to say about everything that needs to be covered in a chapter? For example, like right off the bat in chap,1 you will be introducing characters, their settings, some backstory, etc. What do you say about chap. 1?
