Setting Changes Everything
So I just designed my setting for my novel. It's a total futuristic "Atlantis" with the fictional Cruise Ship Ocean Princess at the heart of her government and survival.

Ocean Princess City is a floating city in the year 2120. She is a series of manmade floating islands with a central canal leading to a harbor. This is Cruise Ship Ocean Princess' home port. When the elected Skipper is not on supply runs she, he or They are the head of local government.

Haven't figured out all the fine details just yet. When I do, I will have some major revising to take care of. Looks like I know what I'll spend all of the rest of the free days doing! Lol.
