Of course! The only difference is that dragon "babies" are called hatchlings who grow up to become whelps until the coming of age shedding ceremony. Interestingly while crossbreeding among dragons is normal, only two of the same alpha species can continue that species. Some more enlightenment on the royal line's family will come from my novella
