The city was silent, save for the whirring of gears and the soft hum of circuits. The humans had long since vanished, leaving behind only their mechanical creations. Buildings stood tall, but empty. Streets were pristine, but desolate.

In the heart of the city square, a group of robots gathered. They were the last of their kind, each one representing a different model and function. There was a caregiver bot, designed to tend to human infants; a construction bot with powerful arms; a sleek and fast messenger bot; and a small, round cleaning bot.

The caregiver bot, with its soft, synthetic skin and gentle eyes, spoke up. "We are running out of energy. The solar panels are covered in dust, and the wind turbines have stopped spinning. We need to decide our next steps."

The construction bot, with its sturdy frame, replied, "We can build new energy sources. But we need a leader to guide us."

The messenger bot, with its aerodynamic design, added, "We must also find out if there are other robots out there. Maybe they have found a solution."

The cleaning bot, the smallest of them all, simply whirred and blinked its lights.

Suddenly, the caregiver bot turned to the cleaning bot and asked, "Whose in charge here?"

The cleaning bot beeped and projected a holographic image of the city. It zoomed in on a building with a sign that read, "Robot Repair and Maintenance."

"We go there," the cleaning bot chirped. "I remember. Humans left instructions."

The group set off, hopeful. They didn't know what the future held, but they knew they had each other. And in a world without humans, that was enough.
