Question of the Day!

Taking my time reading through Legion by Brandon Sanderson. It is a series of novellas that he wrote and has been put together as one book now.

He is a favorite author of mine and normally what I read from him is set in a fantasy setting. He was chosen by Robert Jordan's wife, Harriet, to finish the Wheel of Time series after Jordan passed away. I think he did a great job considering the circumstances.

He also has several series of novels of his own that I recommend. I found the Mistborn series intriguing because of the unique way he presented the use of magic. I've read articles where he has given great advice for creating your own unique magic system.

Legion is interesting in that it is set in our world in the present, but still has something supernatural occurring. Fast paced with humor, so definitely right up my alley.

I am so glad that you had this as the QOTD! How better to get ideas for new books to read than from others on here. Far better than my usual method of - walk down the aisle with your eyes closed and then stop at a book and that's the one you are going to get from the library today. Rarely has that worked out well for me!
