I just finished The Yards, by A.F. Carter. Good story with lots of twists. Presently I'm reading The Lost Girls of Willowbrook, by Ellen Marie Wiseman, about a woman who is mistakenly placed in one of the worst asylums in New York. Willowbrook's horrendous conditions were brought to light in a report and documentary by Geraldo Rivera in the late 1970s. It's a sad story but reveals the terrible treatment the patients received there.
