What part of elementary school do you wish you could incorporate into your adult life? It's like this, see; most of the stuff that I enjoyed in elementary school, arts and crafts, recess, and field trips (I now call them road trips) I can do now, but without someone telling me I should do it their way, or just watching over my shoulder. Our lunches were terrible, the milk was warm, and nothing tasted like it was supposed to. I mean, scorched tomato soup with a burnt grilled cheese sandwich, pigs in a blanket, but the blanket was brittle and dry, mushy meatloaf, fish sticks that were more stick than fish, watery pork and beans, runny mashed potatoes, shoe-leather burgers, and the pizza never had enough cheese or pepperoni, and there was always an oil slick on top and the deserts consisted of a choice of dry as a sponge cake, hard as concrete cookies, or pudding as chunky as the scum on a Louisiana swamp. The only edible foods were the rubbery jello and the fruit. The best part and my favorite part of elementary school was when it ended and I could go home.
