Okay, in Germany things were a bit different when I went to Elementary School... looooong, looooong ago. ![]() First: of course, AMPLE reading time & story telling / imagining which we had in German. ![]() Second: Sachkunde, which roughly translates to Expertise. There we went on field trips and gathered plants, mushrooms, etc. and learned to tell the good ones from the poisonous ones. The same with insects. Basic environmental issues. But here most, the food-finding / classifying aspect, and also basic carpentry like building bird houses. Third: Handarbeitskurs. ![]() ![]() ![]() Fourth: Okay, that I rather wished for: English rather than French. Okay, the latter is smarter when you grow up at the French border, I know ![]() ![]() |
