Question of the Day!

Maybe this week's recipe: Schwäbischer Speckgugelhupf

That's a hefty "cake" from one of my native German home regions (my Großpapa's) containing bacon, leek (and aromatic cheese, like local "bergkäse", or parmesan, if you want it even heftier / spicier) made in a gugelhupf tin and served with handmade herb butter.

You can just cut yourself a slice, spread the soft butter on it and eat it like a slice of bread.

Shoot! drooling on the bloody keyboard!

Gotta go, grocery shopping!
