I don't think I look forward to anything. If I look at all, it's with dread. I'm in love with the present.

Oh, and I disagree with the quote. The past is an anchor, yes, but its value is in how we retain our connection to it. It is only by remaining connected that we have a grip on who we are and can go forward into the future. A ship without an anchor is adrift.
