That’s a question decided by the situation you’re life is at; Single, healthy and capable I told them them to “stick it where the sun don’t shine.” Twice! Then I left and found another job as an engineer in days, but I didn’t care if it took a month or two, I was only responsible for Me. However, after I married and had 4 kids the response changed because with kids and a wife things like a safe, warm house, health insurance and healthy food are some things that you can’t do without. I have had to modify my beliefs a couple of times after 30 when I married and do things I’ll never be proud of. Now at 80 it’s different again. My wife died 8 years ago after 42 years of marriage and my 6 kids are making their decisions as singles or marrieds with children and facing all the decisions I had to face while showing them how to live a good life. I have a new partner though, and I have to worry about her and I still worry about my kids, the youngest is 45 and the oldest is 60. I worry about my 16 grand kids ranging from 20 to 45 and my 7 great grands from 2 to 12 too. Worries never go away and life goes on as it always has. |
