A Wrapped Refrain to My Love

Come with me and let me build you a dream to call our own,
a celebration of a love affair, one that has grown
from a seed into a flower,
from a minute to an hour,
from a hurried conversation
to rabid infatuation,
from a flutter of morning glow to a midday sunbeam.
You are my life. Come with me and let me build you a dream.

The time is here to make my life complete, a time for new
moments, adventures, and emotions imagined for two.
I'm ready to make a new start,
and I beseech you to be part
of a truly wonderful world,
a flag of fantasies unfurled.
