The Contest Challenge

Love your entry! Did you live there or only visit? I lived in Fairbanks for about 2 years with the Army. It was officially 3, but 1 of those years was in Iraq, so it doesn't exactly count.

Sooo...There seems to be some confusion about which contests to enter... So, each month I highlight some (usually, but not always 3) contests. You're supposed to choose from THOSE contests. Otherwise, everyone will just enter all the short and easy contests like this one when they are catching up. I actually couldn't find where I'd EVER highlighted this one. Oops. Well, except in the beginning of the challenge when I discovered that I couldn't mix a super short contest with a regular length one (in hindsight, that was obvious ) because the regular contests wouldn't get any entries, I now only highlight short/quick/easy contests like this in June (for Camp NaNo) and November (for NaNo participants). Since I've not highlighted it at all and I was behind on my forum so I couldn't catch you before you entered too many entries wrong, I'll give you credit for this November. How's that sound? I'm also tossing in some GPs as an apology.

I know I went through this in the last post, but just to recap, if you had gotten permission to do this contest for November 2022 because by chance all the ones I officially highlighted last month were closed, then you would have posted your entry like this...

Sorry I'm behind and causing you stress and confusion! It was a REALLY ROUGH semester! I'm just glad you didn't start catching up until this month or things could have been EXTRA ugly!
