Antagonist Not a Person
Okay, I need some suggestions on how I could write the antagonist background story.

I know what my antagonist is... and it's not a person. It's a feeling. Both of my protagonists (because essentially I do have two) feel certain ways. And this is preventing them from moving forward and being together.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how I can convey this in a story without giving half of my story away?
