Story Ideas.

Been playing with this for 6 months and it just isn't working for me.

A guy is settled in for the night, in front of a fire. Outside is a storm. (In some versions his wife nis in bed, in some his wife is beside him, in some he is single.)

His phone rings. He answers it and and it is the voice of a friend from his youth, some-one he has not heard from in over 30 years. The person knows who he is and asks for help.

Then the call is cut off.

Almopst immediately comes a knock at the front door and the wind and storm grow worse.

And... that's where I fall down.
