October Write Fest Forum

Halfway through October Write Fest, and I finally decided I should participate. Can I chalk it up to age and forgetfulness?

Probably not.

I have been writing, although probably not as much as I should.

First a little backstory. I presented my fantasy manuscript to an editor for a small publisher who prefers series over stand-alone novels. I figured if they end up interested, I should probably start the second book.

So that’s what I’m doing. I’m now five chapters in (having started in August, proving I’m not pounding out as many words as I should…)

I plan to do better the rest of the month.

Time will tell.
