Probably ridiculous. It was supposed to be anyway. But I’ll play along and give it a proper go in conspiracy theories for fun.

Cassie has 6 letters. So does Clover. They begin with the same letter. As written, Cassie has a major crush on Will. Maybe she is using the book to switch between form factors whom she may believe he would be attracted in.

Or at least that would work until the whole Will and Jack switch part.
