No, there haven't been any recent changes to the email system.

Your user info does show 3 emails in your SentMail folder, and none in Spam or SPAM folders.

However, your total email usage shows: 4.6M used of 5.0M total • 91.6% Used.

That's high enough you could have gotten a notification that suggested deleting some emails to make sure you continue to receive email. The email system does not do that for you. You have to do it yourself, and perhaps you did so and don't remember. [Or it might have been a notification that your email was completely full, and this is what's left after deleting sent emails.]

So you could check your Trash folder (it's in the folder menu) in case you deleted but had not purged your trash.

Do you have any user-created folders you might have moved other sent emails to? You could check those.

Or could you have forwarded them to an off-site email account?

Other than that, I'd have to assume they're actually gone.
