There's a (not conitnued from) chapter that hints at Rosalie turning bad: "To Catch A Thief" . The way I see it, Rosalie, Will and Joe form a triangle that always ends up with one of them going bad because the relationship the other two have ends up excluding them.

As for writing again. I always had an idea of how the story should end. The Waste Land, as published, is broadly similar to how it looked in my head 5 years ago (The Cabinda and Tuscany bits are totally new though). I can't really offer any answer though. It all just started falling out one day...
