Medley of Memories She sewed the patchwork, blue then red, as memories rolled through her head. The patches took her back in time to people, places in her prime. I wore these jeans to the farm store to buy horse feed for ol’ Seymour. Mama wore this calico when Dad took her to that ice show. I kept this remnant from the shirt that Grandpa wore when he got hurt. This scarf I wore upon my head when we drove off after we wed. Here’s something from the dress I wore when the twins were only four.
