Re: Form of the week: Sparrowlet
The Sparrowlet is a six line stanza form with eight syllables per line invented by Katherine Sparrow, an author who lives in Seattle, WA, and organizes writing workshops there ( https://katherinesparrow.net/about/ ). The first half and second half of the first line are reversed as a refrain in the last line, with a rhyme scheme of

Searching for God

Angel wings flutter, I seek God
Jesus will lead me, He’s no fraud
I will follow Him where He goes
My heart was once cold, now it’s thawed

His light shines bright in the night
With His warm love I feel so right
From the depths of Hell He freed me
He saved my poor soul from that plight
With each word of His I agree
