I thought l this was a totally excellent study on how to both, write and review poetry. review All of the important elements are presented. I usually start out with the structure then I go to theme, tone, punctuation, title, and suggestions for changes or corrections. Chew's shoes by Lisa Noe There is a dog named Chew He hid my favorite shoe. I found it underneath the couch, Chewy thought I was being a grouch. so he took next my sock, this really wasn't a shock. Good Chewy likes playing keep away, He will play it all the long day. He threw me for a loop, because he's a big snoop. Review of Chew's Shoes Structure: a poem written using two quatrains. THeme: This is a poem about a dog named Chewy and how he likes to play and hide things. Tone: the tone of this poem is fun Punctuation: traditional punctuation was used in writing this poem. I hope I followed the rules properly. Title: Chew's Shoes, is a cute title showing the playful tone of the poem. the title rhymes Image: the image brought out in this poem is of a dog with a shoe under the couch.
