Please, forgive me for thinking the name of the form sounds, like a sneeze. When I say, "Haiflu," I want to follow up with, "God Bless You." That's how I'm dealing with these strange days. Proverbs 17:22, KJV, "A merry heart doeth good, like a medicine, but a broken spirit drieth the bones." Laughter is, indeed, the best medicine. However, my poem is a bit more somber. By the way, is there a rule about questions in the haiku form? If I ask a question, as I have done in this one, should I have a question mark, or just leave everything in lower-case as I have done in this instance? Nevertheless, this exercise has been therapeutic for me. I hope you, All, enjoy it as well. "Haiflu: "Life in a Box"" ![]() |
