Hi Ann, You capture the dark of Poe well in this one. L6 was the only line that didn't seem to quite fit the darkness. I guess it was the "some day" which almost suggests but way off in the unthinkable future. I wonder if instead, you said something like "death's imminent approach" much more immediate and sinister, much more Poe-like.

Because of you and Roseille, I'm inspired to read more Poe and give stepping over onto the dark side and giving Poe a try.
