~ The Poet's Place Cafe~

Thank you for letting me join and hello everybody!

I have been lurking so far in this group (and the whole community, really) but I decided to join this group recently for one single reason, actually.

I've been writing poems for 9 years until I a couple of months ago decided to upload some of it (and the more of it because of the unanticipatedly high grade the reviewers quickly sent me). Most of my poems (sometimes becoming song lyrics in my band or I compose a tune to the poem myself) had been collecting dirt for 9 years on my Cloud Drive. I'm not trying to brag, but I was really astonished after a month or two when almost all of my poems had been rated 4.5-5. Almost humbled. But I figured that a second opinion is always good to have.

I'll share some of my highest rated here, and I would appreciate it a lot if anyone getting this would read a few poems in my portfolio...I need a 2nd opinion from a Poet group rather than the whole community and most of all, insight from people who dabble in poetry just like I do; for everybody's mutual benefit.
