Re: Form of the week: Traditional Mongolian Meter
"Invalid Entry

I just gave this one a try last night. *Blush*

EDIT: I have a burning question! Can anyone help?

Every resource out there says different things about head rhyme! Some say it's simply alliteration—any alliteration (Thus, "take" and "tug" would be okay.) Some seem to imply that the whole first syllable/series of letters must make the same sound (but then, would words like "tune" and "tool" be excluded because they're one-syllable words and aren't identical?). One resource wrote an example of "head rhyme" with rhyming first syllables but no alliteration at all. (Example: Cry and sigh.)

I just went with alliteration, rhymed as often and as closely as I could, and hoped for the best.

Also, is it letter-based or sound-based? Would "who" take "H" words or "W" words? The form says "W" but the sound says "H."
