Hi Kristina,

You need to manually enter your work count in the Nano Counter. Most people use a word processing software like Word, which counts for them or you can use an online program like Dabble, which keeps a count. I update my count on WDC whenever I am feeling stuck on a section as motivation. Good luck with NaNo!
