I woke up real early this morning to write the first chapter, too, about 2100 words. I don't think I can keep up with the early morning routine but I'll try to write as much as I can whenever I can.
Those of us who has done the Prep probably have a roadmap, but as I know from earlier experiences that can greatly change along the way. Also, writing more than the recommended number in the first half of the month helps the word count at the end, due to Thanksgiving and whatever else that gets in the way.
