*raises hand* Also a fan of the freestyle brainstorm days.

We've had conflicting feedback on the various exercises over the years. Some writers love brainstorming; some hate it and prefer templates and structure. Some writers feel like you can't have enough outline revisions; some don't understand why we need to revise it at all. We've tried to strike a balance and provide a variety of different styles of exercises.

Thanks for posting the historical calendars. It's definitely interesting to see how the assignments have evolved over the years.
