October Novel Prep Challenge

Hi Batty,

I agree with you. I have tried starting with a theme and failing. My minds keeps shouting back "it's the characters that tell the story." Then I've been told that I "need" a theme to start with. This may sound crazy, but I just can't plop a character in a situation and tell them that they have to perform this way because the theme expects it.

I am just so glad that there are others that feel the way I do.
