October Novel Prep Challenge

Taste is a hard sense to incorporate into a setting, actually. To the folks out there still working on their setting description, good luck! I knew I wouldn't be able to enter before the contest round deadline tomorrow, so I settled in with some leftovers and delicious homemade lemonade and decided to get it written tonight. When I started writing, I couldn't stop. It's kind of nice when that happens.
