If I know about the place ahead of time, like a haunted house, it won't creep me out.
What would really creep me out would be the lack of knowledge, something unexpected, such as being stuck in a pitch-dark tunnel while walking through it, not finding an exit, hearing weird sounds, and feeling all kinds of things touching me.
