October Novel Prep Challenge

Feedback from recent short story spinoff's of my novel told me readers weren't interested. I went from working up a couple of hours on an assignment to nudging the fifteen-minute minimum requirement.

What startled me is the realization the discipline sparks enough creativity to stretch myself in interesting ways 'not' participating wouldn't provide. Being a writer doesn't always mean producing a fine work of art. It does mean testing my weaknesses as well as strengths.

Perhaps keeping on going with that in mind may reveal a part of yourself you wouldn't find otherwise. My hope is that you will.
