bobturn Better writers do that. I agree with you. Punctuation is for highlighting our work where needed, regardless of some of the so-called rules. If one has Grammarly and sticks to it 100%, their writing will sound dry. I use the very basic form of Grammarly because of possible typos and my bad habit of writing the same word twice. Other than that, I ignore it. That doesn't mean, however, that we should not learn the basic rules of grammar or sentence and paragraph construction. ![]()
