Hello Everyone. I am new to this group but have created a poem for this occasion. Please send your feedback as this is a little out of my norm:

{{i}b}Take a taste of the Cup of Life
What does it taste like? {/b}

Does it taste of love
so rich with flavor?
The sweetness of a new love is exciting and new,
if the Cup of Life allows it to you

Is the taste bitter, like that
of a friendship gone bad?
where resentment, control,
and bitterness, eat at your soul?

Or, does it taste sour?
Like Life is throwing you curveballs,
it seems like every hour

You never know what it will taste like
till you take that first sip

Life does have its surprises
Because it can, is what I surmises
so, put it to your lips and just take a small sip

Just a small little taste, of the Cup of Life
can be so hard on our senses
but, to not take that sip will so ruin our defenses

Wake up to a brand new day.
What adventures will come your way

Just take a sip, just a small little sip.
so you can carry on
before Life’s cup is gone
