The Poet’s Place Cafe’ Assignment Cliche’s The Slow little Turtle By Lisa Noe He carries his home upon his back. He races the hare and is a convenient little sack. His arms, legs, and head can hide in his shell. He is quicker than the slimy snail. He’s sure and steady, and always ready. I have started a collection of turtles, one is named Freddy. They are cute, sweet, like vanilla beans. They are better than what they seem. ![]() ![]() ~~Image #6000 Sharing Restricted~~ |
