I appreciate your response. I won't let that little spark of hope that I may be getting closer to creating publishable speculative fiction die just yet, then!

As a side-note... (if you see this, have the time to answer, and don't mind sharing your thoughts), do you have any advice on privacy settings? Do you avoid posting any work you may submit on the web in any way, or is it okay to post it with some kind of strict access restrictions?
