Personally, I've never quite entertained thoughts of getting published. I just enjoy writing and interacting with other writers. I actually review much more than I write (though not all my reviews are well-received). And I have learned a lot about writers and their work from their responses to my reviews (which I find to be very interesting).

However, in the short time I've participated in this forum, you're the second person I've interacted with who's been published. (The other one's oldmonty.) So, if I ever get published one day, it's probably due to "peer pressure" than anything else!
