A place for discussion on poetry, reviews, contests, etc. |
Yes, interaction does take time and we have to measure how much time we can spend. Also cautiously stepping on someone else's toes means one must tread lightly. But tiny steps like actually reading someone's poem for a start and simply hitting the "Like" button at least shows you are interested in what others wrote. I have posted many poems here and can see that a lot have received only one view, which would be Dave. In other words, no one took the time open my post. And I get it, it does take time and I am guilty of not reading everything too but when I have a moment I do try to read everyone's posts here. And if time allows will make some comment of support at least. I'm still hesitant to offer any negative comment because I have stepped on toes. But I'm slowly learning who will not welcome such comment. I just learned you, Wordy Jay will be receptive to suggestions for improvement. Not that I have seen you need such advice. It is actually fun to get to know these poets through reading their work. You get to see what interests them, the hardships and joys they have endured and how they approach life. Interaction has varying degrees, we can start small and grow. ~~Tink |
