THIS IS LATE BUT I'M SORRY!
The Duodora was invented by Dora Tompkins, an editor of the Nutmegger, a poetry magazine published in Connecticut during the 1970s. The structure consists of two stanzas with seven lines in each stanza. Each stanza has lines of 4/6/5/5/5/10/10 syllables per line, the first line of the first stanza is repeated as the first line of the second stanza, and the last line of the second stanza must rhyme with the last line of the first stanza,
I Love My Husband
By Lisa Noe
I love you much,
You are my sweet husband.
Do you love me to.
You are my best friend.
I am your sweet wife.
We have been married for so many years.
I am so glad to have you in my life.
I love you much,
Hope we are together
For all of our lives.
You are my future,
You’re also my past.
I hope that we are always one couple.
We have been together through so much strife.
